The “sentier cathare”, one of the wildest trails in France, crosses the Corbières mountains from the Med to the town of Foix (Ariège). It goes through the village of Roquefort, half way through the very long first (or last) stage (Port-la-Nouvelle / Durban-Corbières).

Walkers are welcome at our B&b . They can have dinner, providing they book in advance, with a “menu of the day” at 16 €/pers. Home cooking, French or world cuisine…
It is also possible to arrange for luggage transportation to the next stop and come to meet you at the nearest railway station or airport.

Walking from Port-la-Nouvelle, at the first crossing in the village (fountain-mosaïc), go straight ahead the “rue du Rocher de Cancale”, then take the first street on the right, “rue de l’Espandidou” and 2nd house on your right.

Walking from Durban-Corbières, cross the village following the blue/yellow signs, by the “rue des 3 Moulins” and the “avenue des Plages”. At the fountain-mosaïc, take right the “rue du Rocher de Cancale”, then first on the right “rue de l’Espandidou” and 2nd house on your right
